Perinton Ambulance
Scholarship Fund

In 1994, PVAC started a separate, non-profit corporation, the Perinton Ambulance Scholarship Fund, to raise and distribute scholarship money to worthy students. At this time, we use various methods to distribute funds. The primary distribution route, however, is through the Dollars for Scholars program.

Currently we limit recipients to recent high school graduates who are town of Perinton residents, regardless of where they went to school. We require that the applicant be enrolled in a health related field of study. This includes pre-med, nursing, physicians assistants, paramedic students, physical therapy, sports medicine and so on. Medicine is a broad field and therefore our definition of the medical field is very broad. We encourage all potential recipients to apply.

There is no application fee. Preference is given to applicants to have a background of volunteerism, community service or involvement with scounting.

As this scholarship becomes more popular, we are determined to find more funds. If you are interested in donating to this program, please contact us.

If you are interested in this scholarship, see your school guidance couselor or contact our President for more information.
